Change Grow Live Manchester: Drug and Alcohol Service (Hulme - South Manchester)

Change Grow Live Logo

Change Grow Live Manchester work with anyone looking to make positive changes related to drug and alcohol use. We approach treatment with an open mind, free from judgement. If your goals don't include treatment and recovery, but you do want to reduce the harmful impacts of drug and alcohol use, we can help with this too.

Change Grow Live are a national organisation, with the aim to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals and live life to its full potential.

In Manchester, we also offer support with harm reduction, needle exchange, housing, criminal justice, education and training and homeless outreach. We have links with other services including a smoking cessation service also run by Change Grow Live, called Be Smoke Free, and we offer a service which works specifically with young people, called Eclypse.

We also deliver training to professionals on topics related to drug and alcohol use, which you can find on our Eventbrite page: Adult Drug and Alcohol Service - Manchester Events | Eventbrite

Referral Details

Once you make a referral, whether for yourself or on behalf of someone else, a follow-up call will take place in order to decide what you want to do next, which may be coming to see a recovery worker for an appointment and set out some goals. Your recovery worker and the rest of the team behind the scenes will then support you in reaching these goals.

Other notes

This service is available to anyone who lives in the Manchester City Council borough. If you live elsewhere in Greater Manchester (e.g. Salford, Oldham, Trafford), there will be a similar service specifically to meet the needs of your local area.
